Don't Just Book the First Lafayette Party Bus Rental You See. Compare Them All!
Neworleanspartybuscompany.com is not a bus company. It is a quote-comparison website that makes finding group transportation in Lafayette, Louisiana genuinely fast and easy. Fill out one short form with your trip details and instantly compare vehicle types, pictures, and rates from a network of transportation companies serving Lafayette and the surrounding Acadiana region — no account required, no callbacks to wait on, no describing your trip to five different companies over the phone.
The network covers everything from 14-passenger Sprinter limos and Sprinter vans to 15–35 passenger minibuses, 25-passenger party buses, and 40–56 passenger charter buses. That variety matters in a city like Lafayette, where one weekend might be a 20-person bachelorette hitting the Downtown bars and the next is a 50-person corporate shuttle between the Cajundome Convention Center and the area's hotel corridor. Whatever the trip looks like, Neworleanspartybuscompany.com puts all the options on one screen.

Your Lafayette Bus Rental With Popular Amenities
Not every Lafayette trip calls for the same vehicle. A 15- to 50-passenger party bus typically includes perimeter seating, LED lighting, a premium sound system with Bluetooth, and flat-panel TVs — built for celebration nights through Downtown Lafayette or Cajun Country. A minibus offers reclining seats and powerful A/C without the nightlife extras, making it the smarter pick for corporate shuttles or wedding guest transfers between a venue on the Vermilion River and the hotel block on Ambassador Caffery Parkway.
For larger groups traveling longer distances — say, a charter run to New Orleans or Baton Rouge — a 56-passenger charter bus brings onboard restrooms and undercarriage luggage bays so the trip stays comfortable start to finish. Amenities vary by vehicle and company, but comparing them all takes about 30 seconds on this site.
Air-conditioning
Wraparound Leather Seats
AUX / Bluetooth Sound System
LED and Fiber Optic Lighting
Built-in Bar Areas With Ice Storage and Cup Holders
TVs and Entertainment Systems
Amenities listed above are common features that MAY be available on party buses. Because we are a referral website and do NOT own or operate buses, exact features vary by vehicle, provider, and availability. After you submit your quote request, you can browse vehicle options, pricing, and available details on the results page. To confirm the exact amenities included with a specific vehicle offered for your trip, call 504-389-4710 before booking.

You enter your date, group size, and where you're going — and within seconds, you see vehicle options and rates from transportation companies serving the Lafayette area. That's it.

Party Bus Services Built for Lafayette Groups
Neworleanspartybuscompany.com helps you find transportation for every kind of group event in Lafayette and across Acadiana. From airport transfers and game day shuttles to wedding shuttles, bachelorette nights, concert buses, corporate events, and school field trips — whatever brings your group together, there's a bus in the network ready for it.

Lafayette Airport Shuttles & Transportation
Lafayette Regional Airport (LFT) (200 Terminal Dr, Lafayette, LA 70508) sits about 4 miles south of Downtown Lafayette off US-90. The airport handles commercial flights through American, Delta, and United, and ground-level pickup is curbside at the Arrivals exit outside baggage claim. The key move at LFT: have your full group assemble with luggage at the curb before calling for the bus to pull up — the commercial vehicle lane in front of the terminal is short and timed, and a bus arriving before everyone is ready will have to circle.
For groups flying into Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) and heading to Lafayette, a charter bus covers the 130-mile run up I-10 West in roughly two hours — far cleaner than coordinating multiple rental cars or relying on rideshare for a group of 20 or more. Call 504-389-4710 to set up your Lafayette airport shuttle today.

Lafayette Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
Downtown Lafayette's Jefferson Street corridor — anchored by bars, live music venues, and Cajun restaurants stretching between the Parc International and the Jefferson Street Market — is exactly the kind of crawl that works better when nobody in the group has to worry about parking or navigation. A Lafayette party bus rental keeps the group together from the first stop to the last, so the only job anyone has is enjoying the night.
Popular stops include The Fez, Blue Moon Saloon (215 E Convent St, Lafayette, LA 70501) for late-night Zydeco and Cajun music, and River Ranch Town Center for dinner before hitting the bars. A 20- to 30-passenger party bus fits the typical bachelorette group, with LED lighting, Bluetooth sound, and perimeter seating that keeps the energy going between stops. The night runs on your group's schedule — no surge pricing, no splitting into multiple cars at 2 a.m.
Call 504-389-4710 to check availability.

Lafayette Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
A Lafayette birthday party bus rental is one of the easiest ways to make a milestone feel like a real event — the arrival IS part of the celebration. For Sweet 16s and quinceañeras, which are a serious tradition in Lafayette's large Cajun and Hispanic communities, a party bus seating 15 to 50 can be matched to the venue, the guest count, and even the color palette of the event if you're flexible on vehicle type.
Whether the party is heading to a reception venue on the Vermilion River, dinner at one of the upscale restaurants along Kaliste Saloom Road, or a night out in Downtown Lafayette, getting everyone together in one vehicle means nobody arrives late, nobody gets lost, and the celebration starts the moment the bus pulls up. For adult milestone birthdays, check availability at 504-389-4710 — weekends book fast during the spring and fall social calendar.

Lafayette Concert Transportation & Shuttles
The Cajundome (444 Cajundome Blvd, Lafayette, LA 70506) is Lafayette's largest indoor venue — a 13,500-seat arena that hosts national touring acts, UL Lafayette athletics, and major Cajun Country events throughout the year. On concert nights, Cajundome Boulevard and the surrounding surface lots fill up fast, and the walk from remote street parking can stretch 15 minutes or more depending on where you land. A Lafayette concert bus rental drops your group at the arena entrance and stages nearby so there's no lot-hunting before the show or scrambling for a rideshare when the lights come up.
For outdoor festival seasons — including the Festival International de Louisiane each April, which floods Downtown Lafayette's Parc International and the streets surrounding Jefferson Street — a charter bus with a fixed drop-off point removes the parking equation entirely. Demand for buses during Festival International week spikes hard. Book at least 8–10 weeks out for that weekend.

Lafayette Corporate Event Transportation
Lafayette's Oil Center district — the stretch of Kaliste Saloom Road and Johnston Street lined with energy company offices, law firms, and medical facilities — generates consistent demand for corporate shuttle service, especially when out-of-town executives are flying into LFT for multi-day site visits. A minibus handles hotel-to-office runs between the Oil Center and the Ambassador Caffery hotel corridor cleanly, with reclining seats and A/C that keep a team road-ready rather than road-worn.
For larger events at the Cajundome Convention Center (444 Cajundome Blvd, Lafayette, LA 70506), which connects directly to the arena and offers over 100,000 square feet of meeting and exhibition space, a charter bus keeps conference attendees on a tight shuttle circuit between the convention hall and hotel blocks — no rental car logistics, no staggered arrivals, no one stuck in the US-90 backup at the end of a long day. Call 504-389-4710 to discuss multi-vehicle and multi-day corporate shuttle packages.

Lafayette Private Event Transportation Services
Festival International de Louisiane draws more than 300,000 attendees to Downtown Lafayette over five days each April, turning the streets surrounding Parc International — Congress Street, Jefferson Street, and the blocks around the Heymann Performing Arts Center — into a wall-to-wall pedestrian event with road closures and zero nearby parking. For groups attending together, a charter bus drops everyone at a single staging point before the worst of the closures go into effect, then retrieves the group at a pre-arranged time rather than leaving everyone to figure out the rideshare surge at 11 p.m. Book Festival International transportation at least 10–12 weeks out — that weekend is one of the tightest supply windows in the Acadiana market.
For family reunions moving between multiple venues — a morning crawfish boil at a private property in Scott, an afternoon at Vermilionville, an evening dinner in Downtown — a charter bus keeps the whole group on one timeline without the caravan logistics. Call 504-389-4710 to build a custom itinerary quote.

Lafayette Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Prom season in Lafayette-area high schools runs from late April through mid-May, and it is the single most competitive booking window of the year for party buses across Acadiana. High schools across Lafayette Parish — including Acadiana High, Comeaux High, Northside High, and Lafayette High — hold their proms within a narrow 4–6 week window, and available party buses get claimed months ahead of that stretch.
For prom: book in January or February. Waiting until March means fewer choices and higher rates. Waiting until April means both.
A 20- to 30-passenger party bus is the most common pick for prom groups, with LED lighting, flat-panel TVs, and a sound system that makes the ride to the venue its own event. Use the quote tool on this page or call 504-389-4710 as soon as your prom date is confirmed — don't leave it to the last minute and pay for it.

Lafayette School Event & Field Trip Transportation
Lafayette's school group transportation market is active year-round, with field trips running to venues like Vermilionville Living History Museum (300 Fisher Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508), a 23-acre outdoor museum on the banks of Bayou Vermilion that re-creates 18th- and 19th-century Cajun and Creole village life, and the Acadian Village (200 Greenfield Dr, Lafayette, LA 70507), a nine-acre outdoor folk museum west of Downtown. Both venues require advance group reservations, and both sit in areas where school bus drop-off logistics differ from standard passenger vehicles — coordinate access points with the venue when booking.
A full-size charter bus gives student groups overhead storage for bags and lunches, onboard restrooms for longer hauls, and enough climate-controlled seating to keep a 40-student group comfortable on a hot Lafayette afternoon. ADA-accessible vehicles are available through the network — mention it when requesting your quote at 504-389-4710.

Lafayette Sporting Event Transportation
UL Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns football at Cajun Field (201 Reinhardt Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506) draws crowds of 25,000–30,000 on home Saturdays, and the parking situation around the stadium — surface lots off Reinhardt Drive and Cajundome Boulevard — fills up early for rivalry games and homecoming. Rideshare at Cajun Field on a packed game day means a long walk to a designated pickup area and surge pricing that climbs as the stadium empties. A Lafayette sporting event charter bus keeps your tailgate group together, drops you steps from the stadium gates, and is staged for pickup when the final whistle blows — no waiting, no surge.
For groups making the trip to Baton Rouge for LSU games at Tiger Stadium, a charter bus on I-10 East makes the roughly hour-long run far easier than coordinating a caravan. Check out the Tiger Stadium group transportation guide for specifics. Call 504-389-4710 to lock in your game day bus.

Lafayette Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
Lafayette's wedding season peaks in October and November — the stretch when South Louisiana weather finally cooperates — and venues along the Vermilion River, the historic properties near Downtown, and the plantation-style event spaces west of the city fill their calendars months in advance. A Lafayette wedding shuttle bus solves the logistics that venue contracts don't: getting 80 guests from a hotel block on Ambassador Caffery Parkway to a ceremony venue in Breaux Bridge and back, on a tight timeline, without anyone driving after an open bar.
A minibus handles 20–30 guests for wedding party transfers between the hotel and the ceremony and reception space, while a charter bus covers larger guest counts in one clean loop. A 14-passenger Sprinter limo is the natural pick for the bridal party on the wedding morning itself. Because October and November are peak booking months, locking in wedding transportation 6–8 months out is the standard move — call 504-389-4710 as soon as the venue date is confirmed.

Lafayette Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
Acadiana doesn't have the wine country density of the Texas Hill Country, but Lafayette's bar and live music scene makes for a natural crawl circuit — and a Lafayette pub crawl party bus rental keeps it moving without anyone in the group drawing the short straw. A typical Lafayette crawl moves through the Blue Moon Saloon (215 E Convent St) for Cajun and Zydeco, over to Artmosphere (902 Johnston St, Lafayette, LA 70501) for live local bands and a laid-back atmosphere, then into the Downtown Jefferson Street strip for late-night stops.
For groups wanting a day trip outside the city, Louisiana Wines (4611 Johnston St, Lafayette, LA 70503) offers tastings of locally made wines right inside the city, and the short drive out to Breaux Bridge along LA-94 passes several tasting rooms and craft beer stops in the Teche Country corridor. A party bus stages at each stop while the group explores — no designated rotation, no Uber splitting, no losing half the group between venues. Call 504-389-4710 to build your Lafayette crawl itinerary.

Frequently Asked Questions About Lafayette Party Bus Rentals
How does this website work?
Neworleanspartybuscompany.com helps you compare bus rental options; it is not the bus company and does not rent, own, or operate vehicles. You compare the options and book through the process shown with your quote.
What is Neworleanspartybuscompany.com?
Neworleanspartybuscompany.com is a quote-comparison website for group ground transportation. It is not a bus company and does not provide transportation directly. Instead, it lets you fill out one short form — or call 504-389-4710 — and instantly compare vehicles, photos, and rates from a network of transportation companies serving Lafayette and the surrounding Acadiana area.
You see all your options in one place without calling multiple companies or waiting on callbacks.
How does Neworleanspartybuscompany.com work?
Enter your trip date, group size, pickup location, and destination into the online form. In under 30 seconds, you'll see available vehicle types, photos, and rates from companies serving your area. No account required, no obligation to book.
If you'd rather talk through your options, a support team is available every day at 504-389-4710 — they can pull up options, explain the differences between vehicle types, and put together a package that fits your itinerary and budget.
How much does a party bus cost in Lafayette?
Lafayette party bus rental prices generally range from $200–$350 per hour for smaller party buses on weekdays, and $250–$500 per hour for larger vehicles on peak weekend dates. Full-day rates for a charter bus typically run $1,350–$2,850 depending on the vehicle and the date. These are planning ranges — the actual number for your specific trip moves based on vehicle size, travel date, demand, and how many hours you need.
Fill out the quick quote form or call 504-389-4710 and you can have pricing for your trip in about a minute.
What's the best vehicle size for a Lafayette bachelorette party?
For most bachelorette groups in Lafayette — typically 15 to 25 people hitting the Downtown bar scene on Jefferson Street and the Blue Moon Saloon — a 20-passenger or 25-passenger party bus is the natural fit. Both come with LED lighting, Bluetooth sound, and perimeter seating. If the group is smaller — say, 10 to 14 — a Sprinter limo gives you a polished, intimate ride without paying for seats you don't fill.
Call 504-389-4710 to compare options side by side for your specific headcount.
Can a charter bus travel from Lafayette to New Orleans or Baton Rouge?
Yes — inter-city runs are a common request in Acadiana. Lafayette to New Orleans along I-10 East typically runs 2 to 2.5 hours depending on traffic near the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge and the I-10/I-310 interchange west of Kenner. Lafayette to Baton Rouge along I-10 East is roughly an hour.
A 40–56 passenger charter bus with onboard restrooms handles both runs comfortably. Book inter-city transportation at least 4–6 weeks out for standard dates; 8–12 weeks for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, or Essence Festival weekends in New Orleans.
What events in Lafayette fill up bus availability the fastest?
Festival International de Louisiane in late April is the single tightest window — 300,000+ attendees over five days, Downtown road closures, and zero parking near Parc International means demand for buses spikes 8–12 weeks ahead of that weekend. Prom season (late April–mid May) is the other pressure point, with multiple Lafayette Parish high schools competing for the same pool of party buses. UL Lafayette homecoming and the Festivals Acadiens et Créoles in October also drive demand.
For any of these dates, earlier is always cheaper and always safer.
How long do you typically rent a Lafayette party bus for?
Booking lengths vary by vehicle type and company — and since Neworleanspartybuscompany.com works with a network of independent transportation companies, the specifics differ. The fastest way to find out what applies to your trip is to call 504-389-4710 or fill out the quote form with your exact hours and itinerary. A support team can clarify what's available for your date and build a package around your actual needs.
How far in advance should I book a party bus in Lafayette?
For most events, booking 4–6 weeks out gives you solid availability and competitive pricing. For high-demand periods — Festival International de Louisiane, prom season, UL Lafayette homecoming, and any weekend that coincides with a major New Orleans event pulling traffic onto I-10 — push that to 10–12 weeks minimum. The later you wait, the fewer vehicles are left, and the ones that remain tend to cost more.
For prom specifically: book in January or February, not April. Call 504-389-4710 as soon as your date is set.
Popular Lafayette Party Bus Destinations
Lafayette is the capital of Cajun Country — Zydeco halls, Vermilion River venues, festival grounds, and the UL Lafayette campus all make for group trips worth doing right. Here are six of the most popular destinations for Lafayette party bus rentals, with the logistics you actually need to plan around.

Cajundome & Cajundome Convention Center
The Cajundome (444 Cajundome Blvd, Lafayette, LA 70506) is Lafayette's main event anchor — a 13,500-seat arena attached to a 100,000-square-foot convention center, hosting national concerts, UL Lafayette basketball, the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, and major corporate conferences throughout the year. Surface lots off Cajundome Boulevard and Bertrand Drive fill quickly for sold-out events, and there is no structured rideshare pickup zone at the arena, meaning post-event waits in the parking lot can stretch 20–30 minutes. A charter bus staged in the commercial vehicle area removes that entirely — your group loads and goes.
Call 504-389-4710 to set up your Cajundome transportation.

Cajun Field
Cajun Field (201 Reinhardt Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506) is home to UL Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns football, with a capacity of 30,000 following its most recent renovation. The stadium sits adjacent to the Cajundome, and on high-attendance Saturdays — homecoming, rivalry games against Appalachian State or Louisiana Tech — the surface lots off Reinhardt Drive and the grass fields used for overflow parking fill up two-plus hours before kickoff. Post-game rideshare in this area surges, and the walk from peripheral parking to a usable pickup point can run 15 minutes or more after a night game.
A party bus or charter bus drops your tailgate group at the Reinhardt Drive gate and handles the return trip before the lot-exit backup fully sets in. Call 504-389-4710 for game day bus availability.

Vermilionville Living History Museum
Vermilionville (300 Fisher Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508) is a 23-acre living history site on the banks of Bayou Vermilion, just a few minutes from Downtown Lafayette off Pinhook Road. The site re-creates 18th- and 19th-century Cajun and Creole village life across 19 original and reconstructed structures, and it's a go-to destination for school field trips, cultural events, and private group visits. The parking lot handles standard vehicles with no major constraints, but large charter buses should call ahead to confirm bus-appropriate staging near the main entrance off Fisher Road.
Group rates and ticketing are handled through the venue directly — contact Vermilionville before your visit. Admission runs approximately $12 for adults and $7 for children.

Blue Moon Saloon
Blue Moon Saloon (215 E Convent St, Lafayette, LA 70501) is one of the most beloved live music venues in all of South Louisiana — a small, intimate bar and outdoor stage in the Garden District neighborhood of Lafayette that books Cajun, Zydeco, Americana, and roots music acts nearly every night of the week. The surrounding streets in the Garden District are narrow residential blocks with extremely limited parking, especially on weekend nights when the venue draws a full crowd. A party bus drops your group curbside on East Convent Street and stages nearby while the set plays — no circling the neighborhood, no one stuck in a car when the headline act hits the stage.
Blue Moon also has a hostel on-site for groups traveling from out of town.

Parc International & Festival International de Louisiane
Parc International (400 E St Mary Blvd, Lafayette, LA 70503) is a 4.2-acre downtown park that serves as the main stage grounds for Festival International de Louisiane each April — one of the largest free outdoor music festivals in the United States, drawing 300,000+ over five days across six stages spanning Jefferson Street, Congress Street, and the surrounding Downtown blocks. During Festival International, most streets within several blocks of the Parc are either closed or converted to pedestrian zones, and the few remaining public parking areas are cash-only and fill by early afternoon on peak days. A charter bus with a designated drop-off point on the festival's commercial vehicle perimeter eliminates all of that — and since the event is free, the bus is the biggest transportation expense worth getting right.
Book 10–12 weeks ahead for Festival International weekend.

Acadian Village
Acadian Village (200 Greenfield Dr, Lafayette, LA 70507) is a nine-acre outdoor folk museum west of Downtown Lafayette that preserves original and reconstructed 19th-century Acadian Creole structures along a bayou setting. It's a popular destination for school groups, heritage tours, and the widely attended Village of Lights holiday event each November and December, which draws thousands of visitors nightly through the property's illuminated grounds. During Village of Lights, the access roads around Greenfield Drive back up significantly on weekends, and parking on the property is limited relative to peak-night attendance.
A minibus or charter bus handles the Village of Lights crowd far more cleanly than a parking lot scramble — one bus, one pickup, no one wandering Greenfield Drive at 9 p.m. Call 504-389-4710 for holiday season availability.
